  • Providing support for microwave component/measurement equipment manufacturing lines.
  • Resolving technical product and process issues to ensure on-time delivery and product quality.
  • Re-designing products for improved performance, reliability, and/or cost reductions.
  • Interfacing with design engineering in the review and release of new products into manufacturing.

    Our client is an International test and measurement solution provider seeking to expand their engineering team in Northern California.

Qualifications

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a person with the following skills, education and experience:
  • Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, with concentration in analog/digital circuits (communications technology and RF/microwave theory desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years experience including hands-on troubleshooting of electronic components and complex, highly integrated, high-speed digital boards with large BGA devices (both hardware related and driver related issues)
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, WINDOWS XP, USB, Ethernet, PCI Bus, GPIB, and Microprocessor / controller based systems
  • Knowledge of Boundary Scan Test / JTAG testing and firmware loading; Asset InterTech ScanWorks software tool utilization useful in their application
  • Knowledge of how receivers operate, and the basics of PLLs
  • Experience in using common electronics test equipment (RF/microwave test equipment desirable)
  • Requires excellent communication skills, organization, and initiative.

Travel - 5%.

Relocation assistance is available.

Compensation:  74 - 108K
