Our client is an International test and measurement solution provider seeking to expand their engineering team in Northern California.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a person with the following skills, education and experience:
- Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, with concentration in analog/digital circuits (communications technology and RF/microwave theory desirable)
- Minimum 3 years experience including hands-on troubleshooting of electronic components and complex, highly integrated, high-speed digital boards with large BGA devices (both hardware related and driver related issues)
- Knowledge of PC hardware, WINDOWS XP, USB, Ethernet, PCI Bus, GPIB, and Microprocessor / controller based systems
- Knowledge of Boundary Scan Test / JTAG testing and firmware loading; Asset InterTech ScanWorks software tool utilization useful in their application
- Knowledge of how receivers operate, and the basics of PLLs
- Experience in using common electronics test equipment (RF/microwave test equipment desirable)
- Requires excellent communication skills, organization, and initiative.
Qualifications
Travel - 5%.
