Job Description

The Telecom Systems Architect will be part of our clients systems engineering group. Responsibilities include:

• Leading projects while working with product management, an engineering team and the customer to define system requirements, edit system specifications, identify technical issues and resolve them.
• Working with test engineers to ensure the system quality and be the expert for that system.
• Travel - 10%.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required. MS in Engineering is preferred.
• Project management experience, including leading teams of engineers.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Experience with DSLAM.
• Router experience such as CISCO, Juniper, Redback, etc.

Experience with architecting telecom systems in one or more of the following:

• 1-xDSL transport such as ADSL, VDSL, SHDSL
• IPTV
• VOIP, SIP, FXS
• Optical Transport including Ethernet, SONET, PON
• Carrier Ethernet

Relocation assistance is available.

Compensation:  100 - 110K
