Company Description
Our client is a funded startup with an innovative network management software that has doubled their sales every year for the past three years. Their product has been extremely well received in the marketplace and there is tremendous opportunity for further growth. They are looking for Sr. Sales Engineers to develop, grow and manage relationships with wireless operators.
Job Description
The Sr. Sales Engineer will work with the Account Manager and Product Management to sell and implement our client's products into the wireless carriers. The Sr. SE will not only be the pre and post sales technical expert, but will also independently take meetings and make executive level technical presentations of new products. Will also be the technical lead in lab trials of the product for commercial deployment. Travel: 50%.
- BSEE or BSCE or similar required.
- Experience in at least 2 of the following:
- IMS Architecture within 3GPP including knowledge of the differentiation between application and network layers and key functional roles of major IMS components.
- CDMA Wireless Data Networks and equipment (PDSN/HA)
- GSM Wireless Data Networks and equipment (SGSN/GGSN for UMTS/HSPA)
- Knowledge of VOIP and SIP / RTP protocols is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Minimum 5 years working as a wireless equipment vendor and interacting with customers in Business Development, Sales Engineering or pre-sales technical account management roles.
Qualifications
Compensation: 110 - 125K + 10-30K bonus & stock options
