- Senior RF Hardware Design Engineer

- The candidate will be responsible for RF architecture and design of 802.11 W-LAN/MIMO products.
- He or she will be involved in all aspects of the RF product development including architecture, specification, simulation, layout, design verification testing and introduction into manufacturing.
- Responsibilities will also include driving the projects and programs with an overall systems / customer use focus.
Job Description
- 10 or more years of design and development experience with RF/WLAN products and systems.
- Design of circuits and systems in the operating frequency range of DC to 6 GHz.
- Strong background with data communications.
- Experience with 802.11, CDMA/3GPP standards.
- Designs with RF discrete components as well as RFICs, amplifiers, LNAs, synthesizers, filters, transmission lines modelling, and antennas.
- Use of RF Simulation tools such as: ADS, AWR.
- Developing and releasing products to manufacturing.
- This will include experience with schematic entry, CAD, manufacturing methods, emissions testing, regulatory and all steps necessary for a successful launch to manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Experience with digital communication will be very helpful.
- Digital design skills, such as ASIC, PCI interface architecture will be a strong plus.
