Job Description
As a Senior Programmer you will be part of the porting team providing technical expertise and leadership in the design, development and delivery of games for several different mobile handsets for US and Latin American markets. The team consists of programmers and testers, which uses internally developed porting platforms and will contribute to the development of these platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding and knowledge of overall programming architecture and design.
The duties of the Sr. Programmer include, but are not limited to the following:
Platform development as a part of an international team of highly capable programmers, with strong focus on maintaining and developing US specific features of the platform. In addition, you will be responsible for technical feasibility studies, training/mentoring junior programmers, and overall problem solving tasks.
- 5+ years experience in software development
- 5+ years programming experience, ideally using J2ME, BREW, and/or Windows Mobile
- Excellent understanding of software architecture and design
- Excellent problem solving skills, innovation, and platform development skills
- Strong overall programming and games knowledge
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related
Required Qualifications
- Expert level (5+ years) Java SE and ME skills
- Solid (3+ years) C/C++ skills
- Experience in developing Eclipse plug-ins
- General knowledge of language structures and compilers
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or related
