Job Description
Our client's Ecosystem is critical to their success in providing the best technology complementors to their customers and Licensees. The Ecosystem Business Development team drive a number of initiatives with key accounts to ensure their Ecosystem continues to drive Quality, Availability and Innovation.
The Business Development Manager, Ecosystem (BDM) is responsible for managing and developing relationships towards a number of our client's key Ecosystem Accounts and for driving a technology segment strategy. The BDM will work closely with other departments within our client company such as Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services and Sales in the execution of the role. Travel is 15%.
- Defining (or contributing to) and driving a Strategy in one of our client's key technology segment areas
- Maintaining a knowledge base of account technology developments and market trends relevant to our client's core business and the account base/segment
- Business Development activities to drive initiatives into key accounts as well as identifying and closing business with new accounts
- Commercial, legal and financial responsibility for key accounts
- Coordinating all activities between accounts and stakeholders within our client
- Evangelism of our client's platform and Ecosystem programs to ensure they maintain the variety of complementors within their Ecosystem
- Ensuring the accounts understand the architectural requirements of our client's platform for optimal performance
- Sharing roadmaps and feeding back future device advances to our client's Product Management team
- Engage with accounts on advance technology development and discussion to innovate and keep our client's product as leading edge
- Representing account's interests for internal initiatives such as hardware reference platforms, reference designs, hardware adaptation, etc.
- Work closely with accounts to optimise and streamline combined deliveries and/or information flow regarding customer projects.
- Coordinate joint customer requirements and communications, including joint marketing, PR, representation at events
- Identification of new program developments to improve our client's Ecosystem programs
- Generation of weekly and monthly activity reports and presenting to other stakeholders
- Meeting/Event, scheduling and organization

Disposition
Qualifications
Technical degree (Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science, Science etc) 2:1 (or above)
- Commercial role in sales, account or product management
- Proven commercial experience in technical software industry or similar experience
- Proven commercial experience in defining and driving technology and marketing strategies
- Software and/or hardware development
- Technical project management & planning
- Working within an organisation with accredited quality procedures (ISO9000, CMM etc)
Experience
Compensation: 85 - 90K
