Job Description

    To present basic user to expert level technical training courses on our client's GSM / GPRS and UMTS product range. The training provided will be to current and potential customers, their partners or their internal employees. This is a key customer-facing role that is required to strengthen the existing training team.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of hands-on, classroom based customer technical training
  • Responsible for the housekeeping and enhancement of our client's existing training portfolio
  • Responsible for the course design of new training courses in line with new product developments
  • Responsible for the management of our client's training equipment
  • Generation of accurate and complete customer-facing documentation
  • Provide support to the Customer Support and Sales Teams

Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of GSM and WCDMA systems from high level system functionality to the physical messages of the internal and external interfaces
  • Good working knowledge of VoIP technologies
  • Good working knowledge of IP networking and configuration
  • Good working knowledge of Linux / Unix based systems
  • Ideally experience of RF network planning/indoor optimization
  • Ideally experience of BSC / MSC /SGSN installation, integration, configuration and test
  • Very good presentation skills
  • Very good knowledge and previous experience of course design
  • Ability to learn new technical information and be able to transfer this knowledge effectively within a classroom environment
  • Strong customer focus
  • Strong problem solving skills - analysis/troubleshooting
  • Very good written and verbal communications skills
  • Possess a flexible approach to situations and new challenges
  • Ability to develop working relationships with Product Development, Sales, Professional Services, System Test and Customers
  • Must have valid passport to facilitate efficient global travel
  • Must be willing and able to travel nationally & internationally at short notice
  • Degree or higher qualification in a relevant engineering or science subject preferred
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English both written and oral
