Summary:
20+ years experience in Electronics Field Operations. Specializing in RF Systems to include Broadcast, Data, WIFI, LMR, and general communications systems. Some additional experience with Power distribution, Backup Power Systems, Control and monitoring, HVAC, and other support systems for communications.
Skills:
- Strong technical / engineering background in RF and communication systems.
- Extensive experience with project planning and execution, familiar with PMBOK.
- Communication site design and construction for Radio/ TV Broadcast, HD digital Systems, Wide area WIFI, LMR, satellite, and others
- Supervisory experience with technical and construction personnel/subcontractors.
- Knowledge of federal & state government standards, codes, and safety guidelines (OSHA, NFPA, NEC, UBC, R-56).
- Technical knowledge of most communication systems, including telcom, Teleconferencing, data distribution, CDMA, microwave, satellite, RF systems, Broadcast, SCADA, telemetry, video and audio digital and analog systems.
- General construction knowledge, as pertaining to Communications sites including: surveying, soils, concrete, towers, various types of shelter construction, rigging, electrical, mechanical, technical and lightning grounding considerations, local, regional, and code familiarity. Operation of most construction equipment including heavy equipment.
