Responsibilities include driving Layer-3 Wi-Fi router solutions into the cable and carrier space, developing relationships with executive management, managing technical field and factory resources for pre and post sales support, developing the Wi-Fi mesh market in the cable and carrier space, presenting technology and ROI models to cable multiple system operators (MSOs) and carrier C and VP level management, working with system integration and solution partners to provide comprehensive Wi-Fi mesh system quotations, regular reporting with Salesforce as a CRM tool.
- Worked with Scientific Atlanta to Achieve 2005 sales quota for router sales.
- Developed executive relationships with MSOs; corporate and system locations, carriers and satellite direct broadcast system (DBS) operators at Time Warner, Cox, Cablevision, Brighthouse, Atlantic Broadband, UPC, Telenet, EastLink, Clearwire, DirecTV, EchoStar and CenturyTel, Hawaiian Telecom,
- Worked closely with solution partners; Juniper Networks, Aptillo, Ellacoya, NetNearU, Ruckus Wireless and others to provide complete end to end network solutions to the MSO and carrier space.
- Identified specific market product requirements and developed action plans with vendors to provide complete solutions for the MSO and carrier markets.
- Developed relationships with major system integrators; Siemens, Ericsson, Motorola, IBM and HP while jointly pursuing Wi-Fi mesh opportunities.
- Secured four field trials at major MSOs and one carrier account in preparation for major rollouts in 2007.
- Collaborated and provided support to the territory sales team to pursue and win municipal opportunities.
- Attended and participated at trade shows and industry conferences in the MSO and carrier markets providing customer interface and support.
