Network Operations Center (NOC)

Responsible for maintain cell / switch / microwave system equipment at optimum performance to ensure quality customer service minimum outages for technologies such as Nextel, Nokia, Nortel, Ericsson, Lucent, UMTS and R4. Responsible for the overall delivery of DS1/DS3, optical, and multiple T1 and broadband voice and data services. Usually works with direction of tier 2 technicians to meet and exceed company standards. Assist in investigating customer trouble reports. Assist market field engineers. Use test equipment such as Granite, Remedy, Netcool and CTS to analyze and notate problems.  Demonstrated technical proficiency in Cisco IOS, various Cisco router and switch hardware, IP, IPX, SNA/DLSw, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP/mBGP, MPLS VPN, IPsec, QoS, VoIP, SNMP, ATM, DSL, Frame Relay, T1, DS3. Maintain current standard of knowledge in related job discipline. Assist in developing the routine maintenance schedule. Complies with schedule. Complies with state and federal regulations company  policies.
