Summary:

• Over 17 years experience in wireless and mobile industry with pervasive wireless and mobile technologies and applications:
• Extensive experience with CDMA, GSM, TDMA and AMPS and also with wireless data networks and protocols such as GPRS/EDGE, CDMA packet- and circuit-switched, CDPD and others.
• Principal understandings with 3G standards such as CDMA1xRTT and EV-DO and WCDMA.
• Knowledge with wireless LAN and MAN standards such as WiFi and WiMax and other digital communications.
• Extensive experience and/or knowledge with mobile application and content delivery standards such as WAP, SMS, MMS, LBS including E911 and IM and network/application platforms such as J2ME and BREW, and also internet standards such as TCP/UDP/IP, Mobile IP, email (SMTP and POP3) and others.
• Experience with carrier-grade mobile data service platform comprised of a proxy, application download server, content server to back-end.
• Hands-on experience in cellular handset designs, and especially smart-phones, from product concept and definitions through all aspects of R&D, product development phases, type approval tests to manufacturing cycles.
• Extensive experience in pervasive user interface designs for mobile handsets, especially smart phones with patented touch screen and handwriting recognition technology (EASY CURSIVETM) and its ink display mechanism.
• Extensive experience and/or understanding in cellular/wireless technologies and components including RF, baseband chipsets, ASIC, analog/digital hardware, (electro)mechanical and also software including operating systems such as RTOS, Palm OS, Win CE, Symbian and others.
• Highly experienced with IP strategy including patent and copyright.
• Highly experienced with processes of wireless and its applications industry standards.
