RF Design Engineer
- Design RF radio base station for wireless network.
- Developed theoretical RF designs for wireless cell site network utilizing all aspects of propagation analysis, frequency planning, channel carrier, review, approved, site selection, site audits, provide construction drawing, cabinet equipment layout, antenna tower layout, zoning restrictions, radio base station evaluation, cable sweep test analysis, rack cable layout, identify weak coverage, coverage testing, prepare system documentation, provide engineering support, equipment specs and acquisition, system acceptance test plans, FAA and FCC regulatory, footprint and capacity management.
- Implement alarm & monitoring consoles or radio dispatch from Public Safety customers.
- Lead engineering teams in the design/expansion/modification of LMR networks.
- Propagation (bands and broadband wireless), network interconnect control points, consoles, and mobile/portables (voice & data).
- Operate and maintain trunked/conventional VHF-UHF analog and digital handheld and mobile radio for LMR Motorola & EF Johnson, GE and Midland radio.
