RF Design & Optimization Engineer
- RF Design and optimization engineer building Wireless network from the ground up using Ericsson equipment.
- Responsibilities included: Nominal design planning, propagation modeling, system optimization, assigning sites for characterization, Cell Sites selection and Candidate's evaluation, antenna selection.
- Preparing CDD for new cell sites ready for integration.
- Technical site surveys for macro and micro cells / antenna location recommendation, propagation tests, etc testing information to the RF technician, analyzing , interpreting drive test data, specifying corrective actions to maximize radio coverage by specifying antenna height, azimuth, angle and, or equipment upgrade; uplink-downlink path balance, effective radiated power, antenna tilt, power and reception quality levels, Frequency planning.
- Define the Design Guidelines, Coverage objectives and Construction Phases.
- Drive test evaluation and changes recommendations for initial Tuning.
- Tools used are: TEMS cell Planner, TEMS investigation, Map Info, Excel, Power Point, and Citrix (OSS), CNAI.
