- More than 20 years experience in all aspects of 911, public safety communications and program research, development, implementation, design, systems and operations.
- Senior Program Manager with oversight of Project Managers, conducting numerous national investigative studies developing strategic approaches to federal, state and local communications issues pertaining to technical, managerial, staffing and FCC regulated frequency coordination and response.
- Principle investigator and Project Director for national studies of emergency communications interoperability issues, regulatory compliance, spectrum analysis-allocation, as well as 911 communications center staffing.
- Former Director of the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC).
- Nationally recognized speaker and leadership positions, such as President and Senior Advisor to the First Response Coalition; headquartered in Washington, DC, and past President of the Colorado Associated Public Safety Communications Officials, APCO.
- Proficient at reviewing, analyzing, budgeting and maintaining government grant funded proof of concept and new technology test beds.
- Experience in working both sides of federal budget, IE: Grant monitoring, federal grant approval, grant review, and conducting federal grant funded programs through the DOJ and Department of Treasury.
