Silicon Validation Engineer
- Built an SV (Silicon Validation) test setup and generated complete test plans for WiFi (802.11) test chips.
- Performed post silicon validation RF measurements for 802.11 chips (P1db, IP3, Harmonics, Gain Flatness, LO Leakage, etc..). Focus was on the front end Tx chain. Data generated used in improving the PCB design.
- Performed automation scripts using Matlab and TCL helped in reducing the validation time.
- Defined and designed RFIC evaluation boards used for characterizing WiFi chips.
- Debugged and optimized WiFi SV boards.
- Debugged and validated various MAC blocks of the mentioned chips (validated PCI X versus Electrical Compliance specs). Worked closely with product validation developers to define and help development of Matlab instrument drivers.
