• Responsible for managing the teams who have approved the first two VoWi-Fi handsets for the Unlicensed Mobile Access project.
• Currently managing a team of 10 UMA handset test engineers, and UMA test laboratory.
• Performed UMA handset product line management duties with Motorola, Nokia, Samsung.
• Co-developed UMA handset test plans for formal test cycles and IOT test cycles.
• Developed new test cases/modified existing test cases for multiple handset features, including UMA, FOTA/DM, WAP 2.0, GPRS, Bluetooth.
• Evaluated several WiFi Access Point models to be potentially used with UMA project.
• Performed GSM, GPRS, and UMA lab tests on new handsets using Anite, and Azimuth test equipment.
• Evaluated Bluetooth test analysis software from several vendors.
• Collaborated with Alcatel/Spatial Wireless in performing UMA system troubleshooting to facilitate handset vendor IODT testing for UMA.
• Product Development lead for FOTA/DM server vendor selection and proof of concept evaluation.
