Vice President, Sales and Business Development
Set up business development plans (both tactical and strategic) for companies seeking to enter the intelligence community. Provided consulting on computer systems (hardware and software) and services, specifically in biometrics, computer security, C & A and image processing to the federal government and its prime contractors at a management level. Participated in signing three Canadian companies in the areas of application (layer 7) monitoring, TEMPEST, and FOIA software in 2004.
Accomplishments:
- Secured multi-million dollar orders in many different fields (most were new business for the respective company's)
- Always exceeded goals and quotas
- Was accountable for government business in excess of $150M for remote sensing work and design of a multi-million dollar system for DoD
- 114% of quota in first year at Vignette in new government business; first web-based security sales in the intelligence community ($5M) and the IRS ($15M)
- Initiated and participated in formation of a new division (within the US, UK, Germany, and Israel) resulting in over $50M in contracts
- Helped design, implement, and test a multi-million dollar computer system for DoD as a government employee
- Participated in signing 3 Canadian company's to do government work in the US
- Had all Cylink hardware products put on government contracts for the MCI MNS contract ($3.2B) and the NASA SEWP II contract with Unisys
- Created, implemented a plan and sold the hardware which brought in over $100K in 9 months for a special system at the University of Maryland
- Secured large multi-system risk assessment order ($2M) for the Department of Labor
- Held all major top-level security clearances
- Served on various boards for commercial clients (working with government and industry), a chemical company, an international real estate company, and non-profit organizations
- Received National Cryptologic Award, Presidential Citation, and other top-level DoD awards
- Put together plans, designed Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), and wrote accreditation procedures which were used by Defense Investigative Service as a model
- Was instrumental in many business partnerships, acquisitions, mergers, and proposal wins
