LMR Systems

  • As US Air Force system matter expert participated in the critical design review of the $20M Pacific Land Mobile Radio system for the US Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines and other Federal, state and local agencies.
  • Participated in the review of proposals by vendors for the development of the Japan-Okinawa Land Mobile Radio system.
  • Developed LMR packages, to include handheld subscribers, base stations, repeaters, mobiles, associated antennas, cabling and encryption devices, for US Air Force Expeditionary communications units.
  • Coordinated the funding and delivery of $4.5M of LMR packages to US Air Force bases throughout the Pacific to include Japan, Korea, Guam and Alaska.
  • As Radio Systems Quality Assurance Evaluator developed $14.5K contract to have contractor maintain LMR systems on Thule Air Base, Greenland.
  • Conducted multiple field exercises deploying tactical LMR systems consisting of Motorola, EF Johnson and Whelen warning systems. Planned radio networks and programmed portable, mobile, repeaters and base station radios to support field exercises.
  • Maintained all aspects of 1400 subscriber LMR system to include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting. Managed 11 encrypted radio networks with eight repeaters and associated antennas and cabling.
