Job Description:

Our client is searching for an Account Executive with consumer device testing and certification experience, outstanding communication skills, technical acumen and an ability to build successful relationships with customers. A successful Account Executive will possess a consultative sales approach and understands the importance of team work.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Required to positively increase the sales revenue for the organization by establishing and building relationships with new accounts
  • Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Required to call on potential customers, as well as conduct customer training.
  • Manage opportunities from initial contact to service contract execution utilizing CRM (Customer Relationship Management Systems).
  • Effectively communicate with other Account Managers and Sales Manager to determine strategic approaches for increased sales.
  • Generate quotations and follow up with customers to obtain purchase orders
  • Responsible for market penetration, education and promotion of our services through phone prospecting, trade shows, networking, etc.
  • Build relationships at multiple levels – from engineering to VP – within assigned territory.
  • Enhance up to date knowledge on new services, procedures, and tools by attending departmental and training meetings.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales or Marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in radio technologies such as cellular (GSM/GPRS/UMTS), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SmartCard, GPS, with some demonstrable knowledge and exposure to device certification, specifications and/or test systems.
  • Experience of industry certification schemes (GCF/PTCRB/R&TTE/FCC, etc.) and carrier compliance directives and/or mobile devices highly desirable.
  • Conformance Testing experience (RF/Protocol) and/or SQA (Software QA/applications testing) experience highly desirable.
  • Proven success in building successful relationships with prospective customers.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Proficient in CRM software solutions. Experience with Sales Force is a plus
  • Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Highly energetic and self-starter.
  • Capable of preserving confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to travel extensively for sales meetings
  • Excellent writing, editing, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a team player and be able to work well under pressure.
