Job Description:

The business development manager candidate is responsible for working with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase channel/partner sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. This person is responsible for building partner relationships in an effort to execute their strategic sales plan to ensure TEM partner and channel sales growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The enterprise TEM business development executive will have the experience to excel in meeting the following responsibilities:
  • Manage the channel sales process from prospecting through deal close
  • Actively prospect for new channel opportunities
  • Identify potential business deals by contacting potential partners to discover and explore new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of business development opportunities that support and exceeds target sales quotas
  • Provide sales presentations with prospects articulating the company value proposition and market differentiators
  • Developing marketing & promotional materials and advertising
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals
  • Overcome deal objections, negotiate terms and close the deal
  • Integrate new partner contract requirements with business operations
  • Achieve quarterly sales quotas

Qualifications:

  • We are looking for an individual who has solid “hands-on” experience in enterprise-level business development management of TEM software solutions.
  • Understanding the solution selling methodology and tools and applying these regularly to find and win new business development deals
  • Ability to develop fresh approaches and innovate as appropriate
  • Proven success at prospecting and building a BD pipeline for partner companies and channels
  • Experience with developing and executing strategic account plans
  • Highly motivated to find and win new partner and channel deals
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual sales revenue plan
  • Strong interpersonal skills as the position continually requires demonstrated poise, initiative, tact, and diplomacy in speaking with prospects at all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter who can work independently in order to meet and exceed their goals

Education/Training/Experience:

BA or BS required. Master Degree in business preferred. Technical background a plus.

Travel:

Approximately 50%
