Job Description:

The leading candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Marketing or a related field (advanced degree preferred), a minimum of 10 years continuous work experience in the Marketing/Advertising field, with 5 years minimum at the Director level or above in either the B2B or B2C sales channels and at least 5 years of leading a team of at least 6 direct daily reports to documentable success.  The ideal candidate will work directly with the VP of Sales & Marketing, as well as the National Sales Managers of the B2B and Retail channels, to ensure management and implementation of all marketing efforts, including strategy, vision, new consumer product launches, effective budget stewardship and ROI reporting. This individual will have excellent organizational skills to ensure departmental deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Experience in working with departments in other regions, as well as internationally, is ideal.  Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and a true “team first” mentality are essential.  Ability to thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment are critical. Experience in satellite, telecom, outdoors, M2M/IOT and/or potable or wearable technology is a definite bonus.  Experience working at and understanding of an advertising agency is also nice to have.


  • Guide a full-service, in-house marketing team that includes graphic design, corporate communications, social media, media buying and analytics, brand management and tradeshows & events, operating on a national level, but also servicing international divisions.
  • Ability to work effectively on several projects at once, while serving B2B and B2C sales channels simultaneously.
  • Work with the B2C and B2B National Sales Managers to brainstorm and create marketing initiatives that will drive sales in hundreds of national outlets for 2 separate brands.
  • Work cross-departmentally on key internal initiatives.
  • Plan and implement CPG “go-to-market” launches simultaneously in the B2B and B2C sales channels.


  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or related field of study.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ continuous experience in marketing that shows increasing levels of responsibility on a national level.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a team of at least 6 daily direct reports to proven success.
  • Experience in CPG “go-to-market” launches, in either the B2B or B2C sales channels.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven marketing success within a retail CPG sales channel and/or a B2B direct sales channel.
  • Experience in, and understanding of, traditional and digital media strategy, current marketing trends and technologies, media planning and purchasing and marketing analytics implemented on campaigns at a national level.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and written communications skills.
  • A proactive work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
