New Job Opportunity: Forward Support Representative – Minot, ND

Position Responsibilities:

  • Developing long-term customer relationships with project clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Contributing to project effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term network issues; providing information and commentary pertinent to technical deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives
  • Riding on Air Force military convoys to observe and troubleshoot network technical issues
  • Assisting Air Force convoy personnel with procedures and optimization of the WaRTAK system
  • Providing project technical assistance, product education, and training to customer
  • Leading on-site technical team and meeting customer requirements
  • Assisting in the design of solutions to meet customer requirements, including RF antenna solutions, physical interfaces and custom installation that meet customer requirements
  • Supporting technical solutions to meet prospect’s business, technical, and/or financial goals
  • Maintaining expert knowledge of the Company’s products and solutions
  • Leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex networking systems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience as an FSR or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of DoD network and systems experience
  • 3 years of experience with tactical and/or strategic radio communications systems
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts such as wireless, GPS, mobile, RF propagation with an understanding of hardware and software concepts
  • Proven troubleshooting experience with communications systems and architectures
  • Experience conducting training for small groups
  • Experience with managing equipment inventory and readiness
  • Must be available to travel at least 25% of the time
  • Must have a United States Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical discipline
  • Air Force Security Forces background
  • Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certificate or similar certification
  • MANET experience
  • DoD Information Assurance experience
  • Strong tactical mindset and incorporating technology into operations.
  • Experience supporting Line of Site and Beyond Line of Site communications networks
  • Testing and evaluation experience
  • Understanding of ADB and rooting Android Devices
  • Smart phone and tablet computer configuration experience
  • Video encoder experience
  • Land Mobile Radio (LMR) bridge and Configuration mgmt. experience
