Job Description:

As a member of our client’s capture team, you will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities within the assigned territory. You will develop and implement the agreed-upon territory business plan to grow sales and expanding the customer base. You will achieve sales goals supported by our client’s dynamic pre-sales engineers, offer management, and product management team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Definition of marketing- and sales-strategy for the critical communications market
  • Partner and Channel-Management
  • Strategic Direct Sales from lead generation through contract signature for the product portfolio
  • Identify and analyze opportunities with potential, requirements, financials, and probability of win
  • Provide company and product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers, clients, and channel partners at trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings
  • Provide prospects / customers / channel partners with proposals, and price quotations supported by the pre-sales staff and product team
  • Position our client within the territory by following industry trends, competitor activities, and participating in relevant professional organizations
  • Enhance organization reputation via targeted marketing, web advertising, exhibitions, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of successful technical sales experience to DoD customers is required.
  • Experience selling radio, or other communications systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of command and control communication systems is preferred, with knowledge of that market a plus.
  • Experience with System Integration is a plus.
  • Previous service in the military is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel at least 50%.
  • Channel partner relationship management
  • US citizenship or Permanent Residence required.
  • There will be a background check required.

Compensation: Based on Experience
