Job Description:

Reporting to the President, the National Account Manager is responsible for developing and leading the sales effort with assigned National accounts in the Eastern USA states. Virtual office potential for the right candidate.

Historically, our client has sold its products through its extensive network of authorized dealers, however there are nationwide customers that need to be addressed directly by the company taking prime responsibility for the sales and delivery of company products to the identified national account.

The National Account Manager is responsible for Identifying and leading the sales effort for these national accounts. It is expected that this will be approached as a team effort, working with the Regional Channel Manager(s) to identify the correct dealer to assist with installation and after sales support.

The National Account Manager shall be an experienced sales professional with exceptional sales and teaming skills with a proven track record of sales achievement selling to large accounts. They shall also have the ability to lead and initiate excellent relationships with decision makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and execute sales strategies for the identified accounts.
  • Experience in selling to National Accounts encompassing a wide range of products or services with DMR/PMR products preferred.
  • Bring together the team members to deliver the required solutions.
  • Develops strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Initiates and leads customer presentations.
  • Understanding of customer value propositions.

Skills:

  • Understanding of Commercial DIGITAL MOBILE RADIO Communications systems for voice and data
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
  • Excellent Business Acumen
  • 5 years+ experience in large B2B systems sales
  • Ability to present to the customer as a trusted advisor
  • Exemplary teamwork and networking skills.
