Experience Summary:
- Currently working as a CDMA MTX Product Support Engineer supporting the MTX14 software release for Packet MSC and consulting on features like Wireless Priority Services (WPS), Transcoder Free Vocoding (TrFO). Also working on upgrading the current circuit lab configuration to a packet based configuration, debugging problems associated with the upgrade to the packetized configuration and managing issues related to testing of various packet nodes like the Gateway Controller.
- Worked on the design of Phase 2B of the Wireless Priority Services. This feature involves ISUP message enhancements to the ISUP IAM and CPG messages.
- Worked on the design, testing and documentation of Phase 2A of the Wireless Priority Services. Feature involved design and implementation of the state machine for the terminating leg of a wireless priority call.
- Worked on rectifying product defects by investigation and identifying software bugs and writing patches. Interacting with technical support to resolve software issues and provide emergency assistance. Worked on issues related to wireless call processing, short message service (SMS), authentication center (AC), wireless intelligent network (WIN), IS41 Networking, SS7, ISUP and tools that are used for debugging and overload conditions.
