Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT/Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in Networking & Telecommunication industry in a customer handling role
Having legal permission to work within USA
Prior hands-on experience with systems testing
Extensive knowledge in telecom networking communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, 802.11, IGMP, GPON, DOCSIS etc.).
Extensive knowledge in wireless technology RF system, LTE, 5G etc.
Knowledge of networking products (e.g., CPE/Wi-Fi Router Wi-Fi Extender)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
Strategic thinking ability and strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment. Requirements change quickly and our team needs to constantly adopt to moving targets
Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and handle multiple priorities
Willing to take ownership of problems and independently drive them to resolution
Linux/Unix operating system knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of software development and testing principles
Experience with ACS/TR-069, TR-181 tests and management in lab and production environments
Understanding of Agile testing methodology
Defects tracking systems knowledge such as JIRA.
Experience in driving automation initiatives and process improvements as wells as writing test plans and test cases
Python and scripting skills and knowledge are a plus
Role & Responsibilities:
Act as the technical contact window and provide technical support for customers in the USA.
Understand customer requirements and validate that the solution can meet their expectations.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and report technical issues from field customers.
Provide continuous support for debugging defects, including live troubleshooting at customer sites/homes by collecting logs and packet captures.
Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting as needed, within the USA or abroad.
Perform drive tests near base stations for mobile network-related issues as needed.
Serve as the principal liaison between technical development teams, testers, product owners, and executive leadership to communicate, track, and resolve software and hardware defects.
Test new software and features for new and existing products in lab and/or production environments.
Create test reports and root cause analysis to communicate findings to customers and upper management.
Support external vendors by collecting necessary information to identify root causes of defects related to specific modules.
Manage JIRA tickets by creating, updating, and closing defects.
Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify root causes and corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead and/or participate in technical discussions with customers and project teams.
Visit company test house frequently to test products and troubleshoot issues.
