Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative serves as the internal engine of the sales organization, providing critical support to the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and acting as a primary point of contact for customers. This role oversees the end-to-end order lifecycle, from initial inquiry and quoting to final delivery coordination, ensuring a seamless experience for our partners in the telecommunications and fiber optic industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales & Regional Support
- Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to manage territory-specific accounts and assist in achieving regional revenue targets.
- Prepare and issue professional quotes, proposals, and pricing agreements in alignment with company margin guidelines.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on open quotes to increase conversion rates and gather market intelligence.
- Assist in the onboarding of new customers, ensuring all administrative and credit requirements are met.
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as a dedicated internal resource for key customers, providing timely updates on product availability, lead times, and order status.
- Resolve customer issues or discrepancies related to orders, billing, or shipping with a high degree of professionalism and urgency.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling the company’s comprehensive “System Solutions” (fiber, duct, and connectivity).
Operations & Order Management
- Oversee the accuracy of sales orders within the ERP system, ensuring all technical specifications and shipping requirements are correct.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, and Logistics teams to monitor inventory levels and prioritize urgent customer requirements.
- Proactively communicate potential delays to the RSMs and customers, offering alternative solutions when necessary.
Reporting & Strategy
- Maintain accurate data in the CRM (HubSpot) to ensure sales pipelines and customer interactions are up to date.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for leadership, highlighting order trends, regional performance, and customer feedback.
- Assist the Head of Strategy in identifying market trends and competitive pricing shifts based on daily customer interactions.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Order Management working in ERP systems
- Strong decision-making skills

- Excels with a strong team-oriented approach, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, logistics, and internal teams to drive alignment and efficiency.
- Must be able to travel as needed for collaborations and events – up to 10%.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Customer Service experience
Skills Desired:
- Microsoft proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication skills (email, verbal, group).
- Product Knowledge – ability to learn and develop a deep understanding of the company products.
