Some accomplishments and career highlights include:

  • Successfully attacked new undeveloped “green-field” market for Location-Based Services (LBS) platform on mobile devices achieving adoption and commercial launch plans with five operators around the world.
  • Led launch globally by overcoming well-entrenched competition and drove customer efforts in preparation for the commercial launch targeted at connected navigation and other consumer electronic devices (application processor, GPS, connectivity, Mobile TV, multi-media, system software, certifications, etc).
  • Overcame well-entrenched incumbents in a highly competitive consumer electronic market segment leading to projected five year product and services revenues exceeding $400,000,000.
  • Formed and led 50+ member marketing, development/test, sales and international team (GSM and WCDMA technologies) to maximize leverage and create/align company-wide strategy and action plans.
  • Created alliances with major brands and negotiated revenue sharing software application agreement along with content and infrastructure agreements resulting in a compelling end-to-end offering.
  • Established relationships with 12+ operators around the world leading to aligned requirements and capabilities (Verizon Wireless, Sprint, MetroPCS, Bell, TELUS, Cricket, Viva, etc).
  • Provided competitive assessment / portfolio fit recommendations for M&A analysis targeted at primary competitor.
  • Achieved adoption of the technology platform resulting in launch preparations with five major operators.
