Description:
The Director of Engineering’s leadership ensures product reliability and operational efficiency across the organization. You will plan, organize and direct the Sustainability Engineering team to meet company objectives for design, new product development and improvement of existing product lines. This includes sustaining engineering and production support, including documentation control, test engineering, accelerated lifecycle testing, and parts and assembly validation. In addition to directing the team, you will at times be hands on.
Qualifications:
- This position requires a sound understanding and experience within the Two-Way Land Mobile and Public Safety Communications industry, along with extensive expertise in engineering and manufacturing processes. Other requirements:
- BSEE or similar degree with Master’s degree preferred
- 8+ years of engineering leadership experience including sustainability engineering
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Project Management experience
- Financial Management experience
