Our client supplies high-quality, highly engineered readers which are stable and use passive technology. They have a common API and cover all main technologies so they can offer a one-stop solution.

The FAE will play a crucial role assisting customers to understand and integrate the products into their systems, also to help select the best solution for their needs as well as to troubleshoot any issues encountered.

Position Summary/Objective:

Maximize sales output by understanding and influencing the Customer needs with in-depth product knowledge, clear communication, and collaboration with sales.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) for RFID solutions in the USA, you will play a major role in the expansion of our market-leading Identification and payment solutions by providing outstanding application engineering support to our customers. You will also play a key role in the definition of the next generation of products and software releases working closely with the development engineering teams and sales leaders to identify market potential.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related discipline is required.
  • A graduate degree or MBA would be desirable.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of RFID Reader technology, specifically the deployment of various technologies (HF and UHF) within customer specific environments.
  • Understanding of the hardware and software components of RFID systems.
  • Experience in customer facing engineering role.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, written) and experience delivering technical presentations with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Expertise in one or more vertical applications space (Logistics, AVI, medical, etc.).
  • Ability to Participate in technical sales process.
  • Ability to self-learn new products without formal training.
  • Willingness to work closely with the company’s sales team to build relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to promote the product roadmap to the customer stakeholders.
  • Natural talent to elicit roadmap requirements from customers and build an informed opinion on product and technology requirement trends in the region.
  • Able to execute pre-development activities for the region.
  • Comfortable being the voice of the customer to the internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver technical training sessions to both customers and internal teams, ensuring that everyone has a thorough understanding of the electronic products.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline – We may also consider other qualifications, which are supported by strong relevant experience in this field.
  • Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of electronics.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Presentation and training Skills: Strong presentation skills to convey complex technical information.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: adept at analyzing problems, identifying root causes, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Fluent in English.
