Description Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal operation by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and making necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maximize production. In addition, the role must ensure that the facility is maintained, and repairs are completed as required while adhering to company’s policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for safely addressing mechanical and electrical (up to 480V) problems.
  • Ensure that work orders are addressed daily.
  • Perform daily maintenance inspections, visual inspection on lines and heater bands.
  • Ensure that weekly and quarterly preventative maintenance is completed as scheduled.
  • Keep area clean of debris and orderly and keep eye out for potential safety hazards.
  • Respond to calls while on-call and come into Plant as required to respond to needs.
  • Clearly understand and follow safety while performing maintenance on equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain plant facility, repair and upgrade as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Three (3) years of Electrical and Mechanical maintenance experience preferred
  • Maintenance Experience within a manufacturing setting preferred

Skills Desired:

  • Understanding of PPE and the importance of safety.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Electrical Certification preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Compensation: Based on Experience
