Our client is addressing the next generation of AI-enabled sensing solutions using real-time edge-based sensing to sense, detect, and recognize objects and motion in any situation. Their ability to combine industry leading RF sensing, AI edge processing and RF communication in real-time is a major technology breakthrough with multiple vertical market applications.

They are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work with our field team and customers to deliver unique portable radar systems for safety and security purposes. The engineer will be part of a growing, innovative product development team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead applications engineering position between radar design team and sophisticated customers. Lead customer facing demonstrations of company portable radar systems.
• Optimize system configurations for customer applications.
• Understand customer expectations and requirements of their use cases and what’s most important to them. Document improvements and next generation features to consistently deliver world beating products.
• Participate in team review of hardware design, hardware/software/firmware partitioning, and implementations. This role is both customer-facing as well as one that is embedded in the design team.
• Work closely with technical sales & marketing to prioritize, plan for, and deliver customer success when they use our products.

Skills:

• Experience in radio systems at mmWave frequencies. Must thoroughly understand and have experience in RF systems and implantation of these systems in real world environments.
• Demonstrated hardware debugging skill using bench equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc.)
• Some software experience including C, Python, and Matlab.
• Demonstrated success in technical problem-solving skills, and leadership of solving these systemically across an organization.
• Strong written & verbal communications skills, good interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in RF circuits and systems.
• Must be a US Citizen.
